The calculator and label maker process entries in your browser. The website code does not send those entries to a server. They are not retained after the page is closed or reloaded.
Saved moving checklist
The checklist stores your moving date and checked task identifiers in your browser’s localStorage under the key room-ready-checklist-v1. This allows progress to remain on the same browser and device. It is not an account and does not sync to other devices.
Use Reset on the checklist to clear this saved data, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. Private browsing, browser settings, or storage limits may prevent saving. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may see saved checklist progress.
Downloads and printing
Checklist downloads are generated on your device. Printed labels and checklists are handled by your browser and selected printer. Keep downloaded or printed copies somewhere appropriate for the information you include.
Cookies, advertising, and analytics
This version includes no advertising scripts, analytics trackers, third-party font requests, or cookie-setting application code. Local storage is used only for the checklist feature described above. If advertising or analytics is added later, this notice must be updated to identify the actual services, data uses, and available choices.
Hosting and connection information
When the site is published, its hosting provider may process ordinary web request data, such as an IP address, requested page, and browser information, to deliver and secure the site. Hosting-specific retention and processing details depend on the provider selected for launch. They have not yet been established for this local version.
External links and email
Links to resources such as USPS and FMCSA take you to separately operated websites. Those services have their own policies. If you email the operator after a contact address is published, the email service will process the information you choose to send.
